Basil & Black Pepper Parmesan Crisps

Say goodbye to potato chips and hello to baked Parmesan cheese crisps.

Baked Parmesan Cheese Crisps
You had me at baked cheese.

The best things in life aren’t always free, but they can still be cheap, delicious, and simple. These baked Parmesan cheese crisps are proof of that.

The cheese crisps can also be enjoyed in a variety of ways. Try them alone as a simple snack, dip them in marinara or other favorite dips, add some crunch to sandwiches or burgers, or use them as a crouton to liven up your next salad. You can also try and experiment with other shredded cheeses too!

Time You’ll Need:

  • ~2 minutes prep
  • ~3-5 minutes cooking
  • Yields ~10-12 Parmesan crisps

What You’ll Need:

  • 8 oz grated or shredded Parmesan
  • Salt to taste
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp of dried basil leaves
  • ½ tsp garlic powder

What You’ll Do:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  • Cover a baking sheet with wax paper, spray with nonstick baking spray.
  • In a large bowl, mix together Parmesan cheese and seasonings.
  • Scoop the cheese mixture into 2 tbsp size portions on the baking sheet. Make sure to spread them out evenly so the crisps won’t bake into each other.
  • Bake for about 3-5 minutes, until slightly browned. Enjoy!
