Six Pack of Beer
So long summer beers, cheers to fall beers.

Pearl Street Brewing – Rumpshakers – 5.7% – NEIPA

Pours a hazy, straw yellowish orange, like orange juice with lots of pulp. It’s full of thirst-quenching tropical fruit flavor and citrusy zestiness. A subtle malty sweetness is tucked in there, but gets overwhelmed by a juicy bitter finish.

‘Wake me
up before you
go-go, orange juice beer for
breakfast should not be a no-no
you know?’

Boulevard Brewing – Tropical Pale Ale – 5.9% – APA

Sweet caramel malts, grassy hops, and a tropical tart, refreshing finish make this an easy drinker.

‘For a
state nowhere near
an ocean, Boulevard
sure can brew a tropically hopped
potion.’

Good City Brewing – Motto – 5.2% – APA

A mix of bready malt, clean and crisp pine/evergreen hops, and some tropical (pineapple/mango) mosaic magic. Good City is becoming one of my new favorites.

‘My main
motto when it
comes to mosaics? You
can never have too many.
say it.’

Wisconsin Brewing Company – Patron Saint – 5.6% – Marzen

Sweet caramel malts, some toasted nutty and bread flavor are the main show, paired with a grassy hop finish. A rich and delicious Oktoberfest beer.

‘Every
one knows that the
patron saint of our state
Wisconsin is holy malty
marzen.’

Door County Brewing – Punk Ass Cat – 6.3% – IPA

Brewed with El Dorado hops. It has a nice crackery and somewhat creamy malt background, and I’m not sure if it’s the El Dorado hops, but it has a fruity, almost bubblegum flavor that you usually find in a hefeweizen.

‘Hazy
humid dreams and
wild jungle cats scratching
cities for liquid beer gold, or so
the legends told.’

New Glarus – Thumbprint Berliner Weiss – 3.0% – Berliner Weiss

Smells and taste like a tart green apple. That crisp, refreshing albeit sour taste. A beautiful cheek stinging Berliner Weiss.

‘Sing me
a song of crisp
apple September fall
cool nights paradise, and Berlin-
er Weiss.’
