Goodbye 2017.
[dropcap]T[/dropcap]his past year was certainly an adventure.
I went to Colorado for the first time and fell in love with it out there (especially all the mountains and all the beer). I attended Great Taste of the Midwest for the fourth consecutive year – and as always, it was perfect. A sunny afternoon sampling hundreds of beers right next to the lake is exactly how I imagine heaven when I die.
There was also lots of camping trips out to Kettle Moraine, Yellowstone, and Lake Kegonsa. And lots of lazy Saturdays spent tubing down the river.
I went to 3 wonderful weddings and started planning for my own wedding next year. Even the Boxcar Cook saw some changes, with some subtle design tweaks and the addition of the slurred-word beer poems.
Of course, 2017 was also filled with delicious homemade meals and beer.
As we say goodbye to this somewhat weird year, let’s countdown 2017’s top ten most-read food & booze posts from the blog.
