Smells like farts. But does not taste like farts.

Brussel Sprouts baked in vinegar
Baby cabbages!

I used to not like Brussel sprouts. But now I do. A lot.

If only all change was that easy. Anyway, here’s a quick side dish recipe that shows why more people should embrace the Brussel sprout.

Time You’ll Need

  • Prep: 5 minutes
  • Cooking: ~30-40

What You’ll Need

  • 1 lb of Brussel sprouts
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • ½ white onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

What You’ll Do

  • Preheat oven to 425.
  • Cut the ends of the Brussel sprouts. Bring a saucepan full of water to a boil. Cook the Brussel sprouts for about 3-5 minutes. Remove them from the water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  • In a large bowl, thoroughly mix the sprouts with oil, vinegar, garlic, onions, and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Place the sprouts on a greased baking sheet. Cover with any excess oil/vinegar from the mixing bowl.
  • Cook for about 30 minutes, until the sprouts start to brown.
  • Enjoy!
